I LOVED my experience. The sesame beef was 10/10. Dare I say it was was cooked to perfection (meat wasn't dry and the breading was perfectly crispy). The sauce was delicious as well. I even ordered a side of it to-go! I also got the BBQ pork with egg. The pork was very good. Next time, I'm just going to get the BBQ pork plate without the egg. Last but not least, I got the vegetable delight. Could have been seasoned a bit more but the veggies tasted nice and fresh. I particularly loved the mushrooms. Two honorable mentions: First, our waiter! He was super nice and helpful. I wish I remembered his name! Second, some dishes come with unlimited white rice. As a rice lover, I really appreciated that. I 100% recommend coming here!

The $10 lunch special at hoho is too legit to quit. Service is as expected for a chinese restaurant. But you're not here to be wine and dined. you're here because the food is good, the service is fast and the price is right . Is the restaurant clean? maybe Do they have a cloudy fish tank with too many fish? yes are there an assortment of hanging meats when you walk in? yes But this is all to be expected when going to a legit chinese restaurant and if you're in the area, you should go too!

Ho Ho's should have a Xmas theme. Other than that, it's pretty decent Chinese food in North Austin. Had the fried beef rice noodles and duck. Service with no attitude. Will be back for more.

We went here for a weekday birthday lunch at noon. Surprisingly it was not busy. The booth tables were not roomy enough for multiple plates. We had the wonderful ton noodle soup, sautéed vegetables with snow peas, mushrooms and bok choy with the garlic white sauce instead of brown, the combo plate with bbq pork and roast duck and ordered the buns for the duck since the combo included rice, and someone else ordered the bbq pork. My apologies for no photos, when you're with a group, sometimes there's too many distractions but wanted to provide my review since this was my first time. The first impression of walking in was nothing to brag on. No greeting, the couple that walked in after me were seated first, which I thought was rude but got sat 5 minutes later. There is no ambiance so don't expect anything fancy but it seems like the food is better than most Chinese restaurants around, driving 20 miles from my location. We started with the crab rangoons that were a good size and very generously stuffed with cream cheese filling, and the fried pork/shrimp won ton that was crisp and delicious. There are not many steamed options, mostly fried. The duck and pork combo were moist and very tasty so I'd stick with their specialties. The won ton noodle soup was ok, with the broth and won tons being flavorful. I did not try the stir fried vegetables but it looked good and cooked perfectly. If it weren't so far, I may consider returning to have their seafood options. Our waitstaff seemed friendly, but not overly friendly. I'd definitely give them another try.

Pretty good food here at Ho Ho, Cantonese style and nice ambience. Attentive, friendly staff. Enjoyed dining out by myself. Very comfortable place, will return. I got a spicy Shrimp and Scallop, wasn't as spicy compared to other variety of chinese. Tea has loose leaves,

Ho Ho serves the best authentic Cantonese food in Austin. My family have been customers since 2009. The food has remained consistent and delicious. Our favorite foods to order are the peking duck, crispy chow mein, double lobster, roast pork, and won ton soup. Their prices are very reasonable. Pro tip: bring cash! You get a 10% discount off your bill.

I came here for lunch on a Sunday and it was packed! They have a waiting section in the front for people making to-go orders. We were seated quickly on arrival. We ordered half of a Beijing duck with a side of steamed buns and scallions and cucumbers on the side. The taste was very authentic and I love the texture of the crisp duck skin paired with the soft fluffy buns. This was the perfect amount of food for two. I'll definitely be back if I'm craving peking duck.

This is the best Chinese restaurant you will find in Austin. This place beats places in San Antonio and some Houston places. Hot pots, noodles, fish, beef, chicken, pork, and vegetables.... You name it, they have something tasty!! Our last visit, we get roast pork, bbq pork, duck, sweet and sour pork, bass with Chinese vegetables, ma po tofu, Chinese broccoli, and chicken fried rice. Pay in cash, let them know ahead of time and you'll thank me later! See you at Ho Ho's!
